Jernie,
I am so touched by your essay, I would be honored to sponsor you so that you can continue with your education. I am blessed with two children of my own and so thankful they are currently enrolled in college. They are using all of the opportunities afforded them to make sure they have the 'power to choose'. You deserve the same choice to continue your education. Keep up the great work.
Sincerely,
Linda

Nico, I am so very proud of the accomplishments you've made in your life and will continue to make as you grow. What Courtney has written about you, brought tears to my eyes, and I wish I could be there to meet you and watch you play volleyball. Both our girls were in volleyball, basketball, soccer and track, but volleyball was always my favorite. You must be some great kind of guy and I'm very pleased our Courtney is there to see this happen. God bless you and keep it up, you should be so very proud of yourself!!

Courtney,
Thank you letting everyone who never got to meet Dishorne have a glimpse of his beautiful soul. Thank you for both the shivers of sadness and the smiles of joy that reading about him brings to me. If I miss him after knowing him for such a short time, how hard it must be for everyone else who lost him much too soon? I am hopeful that the more people know about Dishorne and the other kids as real people (not just stories) with funny, hopeful spirits, the more likely it will be impossible for anyone to say "how sad" and then go back to their lives. That they will know these are children who belong to all of us, that they deserving of education and basic medical care and love. That every person who reads about Dishorne and the kids of Flower's Bay will know they are being called to love and support these kids.
Love you, Margaret

I have learned that, (You have never really lived until you've done something for someone who can never repay you), your heart is happiest when it beats for others. You are doing the right thing keep doing it, I got your back to da fullest!
